Tutorial Tuesday: Quick Soaker Pattern

Well Ladies, I did it. I made the transition from disposable diapers to cloth diapers. And for only $60! After much online research, I owe much of my money saving secret to Katrina who provided us with her Quick Soaker Pattern free!

These are so easy - I'm definitely a novice seamstress and had no problems whatsoever! Her instructions are precise, short, simple and came with great illustrations. My kind of sewing!!!

You can make these using wool interlock, recycled wool sweaters, and fleece. {I recommend the fleece after all my research - breathable and
absorbs so much moisture!}

Now I know that making the switch can be daunting, especially when it looks like you have to spend $200 up front, but for $20 you could make a couple soakers, grab a pack of Gerber cloth diapers and see what you think. And little baby butts just so look so dang cute in these...

Love it, all of it!! Your blog is way cute and has great ideas!! I would love to use cloth diapers, but I don't think the sitter would love it so much!! I love your wrist keychains as well! Hope things are going good for you and school too!!
