I found this Easy Fragment Ornaments tutorial HERE at I Love My 5 Kids. I totally made these when I was a kid and am so glad to have found out how to do it! Get this, mine still faintly smells - and I'm pretty sure I made it when I was 5 (19 years ago!)

I'm also loving these popsicle stick Trees from Michaels - tutorial found HERE. They are so cute with the polka dots and color scheme - not the traditional Christmas decor.

I think I'm going to have to go hit up my local dollar store or Wally World for some supplies.

I attempted the ornaments w/ my daughter and they were a huge mess! I don't think I had enough cinnamon? They were very sticky. A teacher friend of mine told me to add elmer's glue. Although, I'm not felling brave enough to try it again!
The trick (as I found out tonight) is to just kind of add the ingredients until you get a hard dough consistency. I used the measurements from the tutorial and still had to add more applesauce and glue. Trial and error :) But on a happy note my kitchen smells really good. Better luck next time around!
Thanks for coming over!
I had to let my dough ball sit for 30 minutes then roll out the dough.
Blessings to you,
